Close your eyes and rewind back to the days of the sweet and innocent high school years. The best time of any of our lives(for most). When you could eat all the junk in the world and your fast metabolism would shed it off, along with a hour or two of P.E class that we all dreaded. Here is where I met the father of my growing baby boy, William. I was only a sophomore(15 years old) at the time, and he just happened to be a guy that sat in front of me in my English class that would spit all the jokes during class to get a kick out of the teacher. With what a surprise, his humor caught my eye. I was just getting out of a bad relationship at the time and he was just a guy on the football team that made me forget about everything. Only took him about a month until he asked me to be his. Junior year came, and junior year passed. Senior year came, along with Friday night football games, homecoming, winter formal, prom, grad night, and lastly graduation. All these activities with him by my side. But of course were not all perfect and there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Our first year after graduation was a rocky one, but with love as a strong common factor, we made it through the ending of 2012 and brought in 2013 together. Days pass and memories are made, but come February 2015 William and I get a big surprise. A bright pink positive on a stick. Now no one can predict how you will react yourself when you see this for the first time, I would always imagine it, but when the moment comes you just react. My reaction? Crying, of course, I'm a big baby. Both of us in shock decide to take two more, you know just in case. Seconds later, two more bright positives, this is it, we're pregnant. But the happiness didn't last for long. Just a few days later I experienced bright red bleeding. On Valentine's day I sat in the bathroom shocked, crying, asking what did I do wrong? I rushed myself to the ER, where I had to spill the news to my mother, his mother, and my Tia, for help and support. I was only 5 weeks pregnant at the time so there wasn't much to see on a ultrasound and I basically just had to wait it out until my baby was big enough to be seen. So, this is how everyone in our immediate family found out. My baby just needed to make his presence known on Valentines day, what a romantic.Three long weeks past still with no idea if my baby is still growing, or if I had a miscarriage. I googled everything and read so many articles over and over hoping for some kind of hope. But I knew I just had to leave it up to faith and God, if William and I were meant to have this baby, then we will have him.On March 8, being 9 weeks pregnant we went in for another ultrasound, and behold there he was, our little peanut, with a strong heartbeat of 159. I couldn't believe it, my baby, my little jelly bean of a baby, only 2 centimeters long. I was so happy that I started to cry, again. I was in such a state of awe and amazement. I have never been happier than I was in that moment, and to add to the happiness? We went to Disneyland. About a months past and William and I, along with our family go to a private scan where we found out our little bean is a baby Boy!Everyone guessed it, so it wasn't such a surprise, but still such a blessing. We decided on his name to be Jaxon Liam. William picked out the name Jaxon and we both preferred the spelling that way. I picked out Liam, but not because its oh so cute and popular but to represent his daddy, wilLIAM. The next day William and I headed off to Arizona to start a 9 month journey by ourselves. William is going to a college out here and will be finished in December, me on the other hand, get the privilege to just take care of my home and wait for my son in October.
Thanks so much for stopping by and giving my blog a read. I hope you enjoyed getting a little peak of our lives and continue to come back to read more (:
